Question about TapeIt or Voxengo Recorder

First of all both of these utility VSTs are very usefull with some VSTi's. But my question is: Is it possible for those utility VSTs to start recording when I press Play button on my sequencer. From what it seems like, both TapeIt and Recorder will start recording when you press the record button on them. I think it would be a lot more usefull if one could set bunch of them up, press play, the recording would start at that time, than stop the recording and import all your audio tracks back to sequencer without needing to manually adjust every single track to their correct time possition.
So is it possible?
So is it possible?

That feature is reserved for the paid version TapeIt2.

Along with lots of other features, like recording only the marked part in the sequencer...AndrewSimon wrote:That feature is reserved for the paid version TapeIt2.

You can try the MultiRec 16 http://acousmodules.free.fr/fichiers/ut ... iRec16.rar
It is made for multichannel recording, so it records from 3 to 8 stereo wav files, but I can send you a stereo only version if it can help.
The recording can start by a button press or when the Host plays :
- select the number of channels that you want to record (minimum 6 in this version) with the Arm/Save button (goes green)
- select a file name (W button) : the numbers of the channels are automatically written after the name
- if you want to manualy record, press the Record/Pause button
- if you want to record when the host starts to play, push the Host button : the recording will start when the play starts. If you stop then restart, the audio will be added to the files
- press the Arm/Save button to save and close the files (goes red)
Not sophisticated but free

Sounds great!!!
Thanks guys
I work in Cubase SX, but a lot of my files end up in ProTools at the end. Recording all the tracks seperatelly from same starting position is the best and easiest way to transfer files between DAWs. These type of utilities save a lot of time!!!
Thanks again
