A tie for every note would be a lot more controls, making things very messy both internally and on the GUI. I think the LFO and Sample & Hold should give you plenty of movement, randomness being especially handy. I have ramped up the release internally to help with the clicks but I may add it as a slider in the future. If I double the number of steps it is more likely to be for separate L and R channels which would be kind of cool.
And yes, it is made in SynthEdit - I don't think it would be possible to sync it to host tempo in SM at the moment [but I could be wrong].

OOPS! My bad - I forgot to lock the GUI before I exported it. If it really bugs you I have uploaded yet another version.NAS wrote:I downloaded this bones old man but the bottom of the GUI is cut off ?

Hey thanks Bones! Downloaded this immediately, as well as the revision to kARMAKILLER, still the most versatile of all free VST synths IMO. Your machines are occupying my time once again since yesterday when I figured out how to make pads with the G-III. A real burst of creativity in patch-making going on right now. Can't wait to hook this gate up to the Silkworm, or Subduer! Or howabout Voyager?

Well, Silkworm does have it's own gate, dosen't it? Can't hurt to hook it up anyway, though.

You can fix it by using another host. I cannot imagine why it wouldn't render in Fruity.
ttoz, are you getting clicks or just assuming they are there 'cause I said they were? BTW, to turn the small LED's into tie buttons would be an order of magnitude more internal complexity that it has currently, for several reasons, just to mimc a feature that, as you pointed ut, scuzzphut already has. It would make more sense to add the Release slider so that you can leave a single gap and ramp up the DIVISIONS to get a better result for held notes.

Well, if I hadn't been banned as a Fruity customer I might be able to test it but that was not my decision so there isn't a lot I can do about it.

I dared to suggest that maybe, just maybe, Fruityloops v3 was not God's gift to musicians. Clearly, it was a moment of complete madness but that was all it took.Chase wrote:lol what did you do to be banned as a fruity user?

When do you actually recognize, that all your plugins are (killing) dark (graphics design)? Too dark. Infact they are "killing" me using them for even that reason.BONES wrote:I've just put our first-ever VST effect plugin up at www.novakill.com
It looks like this:
As you can see, it features a 32 step gate with its own SV Filter, LFO and Distortion. Its all based on components from the latest Generation X synths and it should be fairly handy. I dunno why I didn't think of it before.

very nice plug in Bones, just had a little play.
Thanks for sharing this.
& thanks for the amusing anecdote about fls, reckon a 'discussion' between yourself & the mild mannered self-effacing Gol must have been something to witness.
