Scuzzphuts PhutBoySlim sounds like it might do the trick..
it's just audio you want to loop right??

I use it strictly for looping - that's it's purpose right?!

yes ..audio, and thanks, gonna try it.

EDIT. seems to works fine , thanks ! :) ... i guess the only thing i wish more is to be able to seet the loops a little bit longer than the lenhgt this cool plugin permit, .. but i like !!

There are a couple of ways to do this. Rekliner's Loopy Llama and Jeff Larson's Mobius are both fairly extensive loopers. A great alternative, and very easy to use, is White Noise's Memory which will let you shorten the loop only.

You could also use a delay. Both Ohmforce's OhmBoyz and Audio Damage's Ronin have loop buttons, which is just feedback set to 100%. You could do it with any delay, but many delays don't have long buffers and lack flexible ways of manipulating the delay time.

I'm not sure what modular you're using, but both Audiomulch and Bidule have looping facilities. Mulch's loopers are a bit more esoteric (one allows you to build a canon of loops, the other sort of works like a sequence, but I've not used it a lot, as it is rather cryptic on the surface.) Bidule's buffer module is great and simple to use, although last time I checked only allowed up to 5 seconds of audio. They may have extended that in more recent versions.

Several of ioplong's plugins might also be helpful, although they are designed with more features to cutup, rearrange, distort the loops.

If you're using a Mac, only Bidule is cross-platform of these, but I know there are several options around for Macs.

Cheers,
Steve
