) As far as donations go at this point (please read the about box on Free Amp SE) there are many in more need then I at this point of my life, Someday I may again charge for my work but for now it is for All to benefit from, musicians and those in need alike. (damn they sound kind of the same anyhow)

To be honest with you I work very hard in my day job, to keep a roof over the heads of my wife, two daughters and myself. Part of the decision to make all my plugins freeware is that I have to work too hard during the day hours to make creating plugins at night work, I have a lot of fun building this stuff.
So that leaves one of two choices? Be greedy and let my work rot and die on my hard drives, or share it with the world in hopes of better things for all. (I choose door nomber 2)
As said in my earlier post if the day comes when I can make my work to be play, then I would have to charge for it to support my family. Until then we will hopefully have some fun together

Hello All

Just curious if anyone has tried tracking with anything other then a MIDI keyboard or guitar (audio)?
Would be very interested to hear how they track to wind or string instruments???

I used the string shaper on some experimental vocal stuff. It was a lot of fun and has me thinking of applications..

I just wanted to say that I tried all of your plugs and they are absolutely fantastic. Guitar stuff works extremely well... like the Roland G series... 'cept I like your stuff better! Not only that, but virtual guitars like reFX Slayer stuff works great with your VSTs as well.

Last but not least, your VSTs (esp. Tripp Lead) can act like AlienSolo or Kantos if you use vox or drums instead of Guitar...

All really amazing stuff and I can't thank you enough! I've told everyone I know about this.

Glad to hear of some who like to experiment with sound

One thing I found when tracking with a mic and your voice! Monitor your voice louder then the synth while tracking, makes it much more easy to keep pitch? the synth should stay within less than one cent of the source.
Avoid any S's, T's P's they track as only noise.

I use GCBS with clarinet, musical saw trombone and voice. I will try next week your other vsti with the same instruments. It works very good with wind instrument, and with saw, whereas the tracking with my saw is very difficult.
