swivel - it's actually quite annoying not being able to copy/paste multiple clips, but i agree with what you said, and i also think that some sort of poll considering FRs would be nice ; but there are so many that it would be a pain to set up

Jorgen should be the one to set up a FR poll if wants one. That way he could let us choose from things he actaully wants to have or wants to work on.
If we were to set one up what would it mean really?

Agreed. I've mentioned it before, it seems he created a monster (a good oneswivel wrote: as far as the things jens mentions, I think we all have different priorities. There's one group who uses the sequencer in a midi centered way (no audio), another who is perhaps more audio/recording oriented, and another more modular routing focused with no sequencer. Different users will therefore run into annoyances that are non-issues for others.

For my two cents as a totally new user to XT, Its the midi-centric attitude of XT that attracted me to it in the first place. There are so many apps from the big companies like cakewalk and steinberg on down which are centered around audio. As an 'old-timer', I started decades ago with the Atari ST and Dr. T and miss the development of midi that could be possible given today's computers.knoob wrote:Agreed. I also agree with the need to consolidate what it's done before adding new features. We all have to be patient, and not to rush Jorgen development (after all he's still a bit human... i guess
).
I hope midi stays at the forefront...

PDC is very important
but so is file management, there is simply no file management in most of the comps.
no way to add fav folders or shortcuts
each time you want to add a sample of midi file you have to navigate thru multiple folders.

it would be great to have the options that the browser offers in all comps.

- eXT still doesn't compensate for the asio-latency when recordingThis is such a terrible thing and it shopldn't be too hard to fix. I really can't understand why this basic neccesity still isn't implemented.
But let's cry for a few more features in the meantime... - who needs proper audio-recordings anyway?

We have proper mono signal handling, at least...
