Jeez.. are they helpful or what ! grrrr..

i'm trying desparately to get R4 to install on my G5 .. no go at all..

i ask on the NI supoort ticket system for help, and they give me a stock answer..

i do the things they say... but this does not help .. i still can't install

ask again, and i get a are you sure ? what do you call the HD you are trying to install on ? f**ks sake.. what else do you call a system HD on mac!

they are treating me like an imbecile LOL

not believing i have the correct installer,

not believing i'm following instructions..

call that support.. ? i call that rediculous..

Grrrrrr!!!

come on NI sort it out..

i wonder if there is a european phone number.. i might just give them an earfull!!

Let us know how it goes and if there is any way you find around this. I have also experienced the same crappy support. It is super annoying. It would be better if they just said their products aren't supported since they really aren't supported in a professional manner...

Have you tried their forums? Some folks there are quite knowledgeable and helpful. At least in the past when I was there, that was the case.

I have been in the forums, but when it comes to arcane problems with Komplete 2 versions of products expecting to receive the regular copy protection, Battery 2 not working on Tiger, and Kontakt 2 Akai imports nobody seems to be able to help...

i sent in 3 separate support forms yesterday.. and got a totally different guy answering this time.. he was much better

explained everything, not condescending and generally helpful

and it worked

thank god for that

Right on fitch...I've only had problems with the Berlin office when I called. LA's been pretty decent when they finally wake up and get to the office (don't bother calling early).
