Actually, as I work in the Bank my CC is at I noticed it was charged a few days ago.
Zai,
esoundz website says for pre-orders it charges your card on receipt of the purchase, regardless of the shipping date.

Scaled down version in terms of parameters of course. But, the quality isn't scaled down.Scant wrote:So is this a scaled down version of CSR or the full thing.

As Scant points out, esoundz charges your card (and says so) when you pre-order. It is pre-paid because esoundz has to purchase them from IK just like any other dealer would. We order an amount based on what we have on pre-order which is already quite a few. We're sending them out in the order received.zai wrote:I noticed that my credit card has been charged...shipping "now"? :p

What does the LP in "11 Violins Trem LP" mean?
Might be a simple question for one who's an orchestration pro, but for those who are on their way - they got enough to do looking terms like Detache, Portamento, and sul ponte.
And what's the RY in "Bass Clar Staccato RY"
What's sul ponte, btw.? Wikipedia has no explanation. Of course ponte is italian for bridge, so maybe it's playing with the bow very close to the bridge?
I had a (cute&female) cello player demo me playing very close to the bridge and the sound was cool - almost synth-like.

Well, we all know Bruce Dickinson's industry secret, that using enough cowbell is the major point for most of the productions.pricer wrote:good to know we'll be well stocked up on cowbells!![]()

Could be, but could also be Legato Player. (unlikely though)

I wouldn't joke about this, knowing Squids and how much extra he and his team go to make us all happy, it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't dispatched a team to record some, if not to put in this release, to at least make downloadable from esoundz.harmony gardens wrote:the only detail that seems to be missing are audience noises,,, where are the coughs and sneezes to create that realistic hall ambience????? Ahh, so I WAS right!!Squids wrote:Great. Then you'll learn all of the cool things about Philharmonik that you didn't know such as that it has master send effects and in that list is a special version of CSR! So, if you like the sound of the demos I did at Musik Messe then you can be happy to know that a $399 reverb is included.
Thank you squids for that CSR contribution
Really, I think it will add greatly to the overall value of this library which is already the best deal available, even at it's full retail price.
Btw squids, I really enjoyed the videos. Very nicely done.

Squids - I loved the live demo on Miro you did. WOW!!!!!!
You can bring a whole orchestra out on stage with you if you've got the right player. This is magnificent considering it's not programmed at all!
Is there a possibility that there will be some smaller solo snippits of Miro at work (programmed not live). Sometimes it's harder to hear how well the solo instruments perform in an orchestral ensemble and I know that I will be wanting to use solo instruments fairly isolated from the rest quite often in my own music.
Of particular interest are: cello, violin, flute, trumpet, trombone, french horn and piano - and in particular the cello and piano
.

The demos are down! How can the demos be down!!!!?
I was looking forward to this all day... oh well
they'll be back up soon... right?
I can mirror them for you if you want. Maybe...
So what's new that we didn't knew? Besides CSR and the fact that there are Send effects - I like looking at the patch list
I'm really curious as to the differences between all those different numbered patches... 11 Violins Marcato, 11 Violins Marcato 2, 11 Violins Marcato 3, 11 Violins Marcato 4 - I'm sure they're useful, but I don't know what to expect!
Looking forward to hearing the demos

You know,,, that would sort of put the cherry on the sundae,,, have some hall ambient applause too,,, then we could do the complete Walter "MIDI" thing. Conducting our own orchestral pieces for our virtual adoring audience. My girlfreind is getting vapors!!rollasoc wrote:I wouldn't joke about this, knowing Squids and how much extra he and his team go to make us all happy, it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't dispatched a team to record some, if not to put in this release, to at least make downloadable from esoundz.harmony gardens wrote:the only detail that seems to be missing are audience noises,,, where are the coughs and sneezes to create that realistic hall ambience?????
