Seriously though, netsound.
I've been kidding with you a bit, mostly because I thought your "f**king talentless" comment to nuffink was a bit over the top, but I would really like to know what type of music you actually do appreciate.
take care,
McLilith

It would have been better if you had left the original post, and simply added a correction or an apology to the end of it.netsound wrote:...
The way you've done this, it looks like you are hiding something, or are afraid to admit a mistake. Do you happen to work for a government agency, perchance?
Perhaps one concerned with security or intelligence gathering? (That might explain the use of the secret encoder ring earlier.)
Don't worry, there's nothing to be so ashamed of. Lots of people make mistakes. I've even met a few of those people personally.

I've some Spaghetti'n'Meatballs left over. Want any?
And I thought of Teenage too. <pretentious> GMTA, n'est-ce pas? </pretentious>
Some day I must learn who the heck Baba O'Reilly was anyway. Not the guy who printed 90% of my programming library, I'd wager.

Thanks for the generous offer. I love good spaghetti, but I have some Turkey n' Dressing in the microwave now. There's nothing like a little tryptophan to make a forum rant more palatable.Meffy wrote:I've some Spaghetti'n'Meatballs left over. Want any?

By the way, I've seen the Blue Man performance of that song on television. I thought it was absolutely great. Their handmade instruments worked quite well as substitutes for the original synth sounds.
In vaguely similar way, I would like to change Rob Zombie's Dragula to a Gangsta Bluegrass Trance version. It already has the pompous shouty lyrics of Gangsta. Banjos, mandolins, and guitars could easily do the synth arps. Dobro could do some of the heavy synth stabs. The song has a trance influence already, and that could be carried on to the new version. I only wish it were possible to somehow get Pat Butram to do the lead vocals.

Thank you! I'd heard O'Reilly was the correct spelling but not the rest of the story.
For bluegrass I always go with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. In fact I think I'll put some on now... something old... Flight of the Cosmic Hippo? Yes.
