Same here. Still only the first three sliders. Oh well...Igor 4000 wrote:Just downloaded again to make sure that I have the latest version, and it's still happening in FL Studio.Gregjazz wrote:Is that the very latest download of the VSTi? It only displays the left 1/3 of the GUI. It allocates the full space for the plugin, but the rest of it is gray. So it's basically non-functioning because you can't use any of the controls past the first 3.

I liked the old one better.
It was briliant for bass.
I have tryed to compare the old one V2 and SFZ
V2 sounds like it does nothing to the SF.
SFZ sounds of more

M'kay. What about the GUI size? That's probably my main concern at the moment...jsl wrote:I liked the old one better.

The 2 GUI are exactly the same size.
In Cubase SX3, they displays everything and in the right size.

downloading it right now. Im sure youve plenty of ideas but heres one or 2 which Id love: an arpagiator, some fx such as wah, distortion, add noise. The interface could be funked up a little, as a designer I can tell you that anyone with a little experience in Illustrator/photoshop could make some very kool GUI 4u.
This could turn out to be very popular if you refine it.
Best of luck.

Interesting... the exact duplication of repeated notes is one most annoying things about sample/rompler playback

Yeah! There are some sequencing tricks to avoid this, but I just wanted to make it a little bit easier for people. I've made some physical modeling synths before, so eventually I want to mix in a bit of that to try to realistically change the tone even more, maybe even more specific towards different instruments.Rock wrote:Interesting... the exact duplication of repeated notes is one most annoying things about sample/rompler playback
Speaking of FX, a while ago I made a physical modeled guitar VSTi with built in effects like wahwah, distortion, chorus, reverb, etc. Sounded pretty cool, but I'm sure I can do a better job on the FX. I think it'd be great to build in some FX into the Soundfont Enhancer, but I would like for the FX to be truly good -- otherwise there would be no point, as you could just chain together some other VST effects.Rock wrote: downloading it right now. I used to do a lot more artwork a few years back, and now I mainly specialize in 3D modeling and rendering (long-time 3DSMAX user here). But for the GUI in this VSTi I used The GIMP. It took me a long time to get back into it, but hopefully the GUI is relatively pleasant-looking.
So, does everyone here want me to turn this into a bigger project and add FX and stuff? An arpeggiator would be awesome.

I've been using ver.1 in Tracktion under win98. I am enjoying it. Thank you for the mono mode for legato which sfz lacks.
There are some problems though.
When playing in mono mode it sometimes forgets which sample range it should be playing and jumps to a different sample.
Also, I loaded a GM bank and set the player to play the normal range of the samples. as I worked my way up the keyboard it suddenly started playing the next patch in the bank. As I went back down the keyboard it switched back to the patch I had loaded.
Even though it indicated I was using the propper samples it seems to have been playing the next range.
Sometimes I load a soundfont and The gui says empty and there is no sound. If I then click on the patch select button it shows the font that is supposed to be loaded. I found that If I click on the font name it will then get loaded.
I also have the problem of stutterring and overloading if I turn the enhancer of. With some fonts it stutters less if I turn on legatto.
Overall I like this very much.

The Synth Edit sf loader has always been problematic for me.
It would be nice if the Enhancer could detect the absence of a sample. Some fonts have a limited range, so sometimes silence is randomly selected.
Anyway, Im just a synth user and not a programmer.

Hi, I just tried it with FL Studio 5 and I'm not having any problems with the GUI or with crackling. I like this plugin a lot. . it would be great if there was a vst effect like this for use on synths/samplers

I took out the enhance button to see if that would fix the crackling issue... I will put it back in.Igor 4000 wrote:The new version seems to have fixed the gui issues in FL Studio 5. However the "enhance" button is missing...I guess that's by design?
The GUI problem I'm guessing was from the old tiny GUI. Somehow when I resaved it as a new VSTi it fixed it, I guess.
