don´t get mad on me, maybe you already explained , but don´t have the time to search and read all the post now,
or download this plug and try ,but i got the idea that this isn´t like the flstufio text plugin where we can type some text , right? ..if not and if somebody knows of a plugin like this flstudio little plug send me a Private Message ..please..

@spacedad: robocoder_demo is wrong, just name it "robocoder demo" with space inbetween.
the problem is that no error message occurs when rc doesn´t find it´s sounds. it will just play nothing then. but at least importing own wavs should work, so that you can see the engine is working properly.

btw: yes, you can press additional higher keys, but you dont have to. if you only use lower keys it will play the words using the pitch set with the "pitch" knob.

@others: oh-oh. let the battle to fight the errors begin :? ok, let me so, where i can start ... :D

How do I play it, it's an effect? I can't load it as VSTi in Live?

Post

Hi Alien Leg, yes, it´s an VST-Effect. It will come also as a VST-Version soon.

Not totally sure about that because i dont have Live, but it should be enough if you just load it into a MIDI channel and then assign any midi in to it?

ok i took out the underscore and after a couple of tries...welcome to the revolution! i liked using the virtual wheel to stretch the words to fit and wished it could record the movements for me?(as i haven't figured recording cc stuff yet)or a graph with drawable stretch lines would be good.or maybe i just need to explore it a little more, anyway, nice work,i'll keep trying and see if it does anything odd again. :)

Post

hi spacedad, actually the virtual modwheel is only a graphic representation of incoming modwheel data. you should be able to just record modwheel movements within your host! also automating the virtual wheels should work :)

EDIT: WOW    cant belive i hit the 5000 views mark :hyper:

congrats.
i know about the modwheel,it's just that i don't have a wheel or a keyboard atm, anyway i'm kinda enjoying being without, and i just thought a graph, bar or points thing would be cool,if it's too tricky to implement then that's ok.

sonicfire wrote:thx! well, but i dont know if you´re really interested in applying robocoder´s plain reverb and chorus to your audiomaterial ;)
Probably no.'I'm just dreaming of a host/plugin word with a general modulistic approach...
All "all effects off" is one request for everything, an other is external audio through effects, and another is external audio as one voice of the VST synths etc.

@spacedad: i´m working on an update, so that you can record automation with the onscreen wheels! :)

@conny_kvr: well ext. audio input as one voice of the VST is´nt that easy to realize, i´m afraid.

i´ve added a filter now, lp/hp multifilter, with one knob - that thing rules :P :D

that sound good. :)
-how about making the wav player bit into a step sequencer, then you could have different patterns strung together to make verses?with onboard recordable wheel tweaks for each pattern.then just use midi notes for the tunes.that would make it less cluttered, maybe.sorry if that's cheeky or already been said, just thinking off top of me head.

excellent idea, but that would blow your PC in terms of speed and CPU usage away, and it´s too much for SynthEdit - but perhaps with SynthMaker or something in future.... this could be done :-P :)

This is going great, it seems!

I could be a preorder type of guy for this.
But I have to test the Robocoder2 in Live first, so I want to see the VST/VSTi (if that will be two dll's?) working.
Is there a version 2 demo..?
Did not find it on your site. :help:
