Hi,

I try to load a project and right after it performs the "reading project file" and "connecting media" actions, I get an error message saying "a serious error has occured........", and the project doesn't appear. You could see the microsoft hourglass when the cursor is placed over the transport panel and nowhere else. This appears to be the only project affected by this. I left a post at Cubase.net, but I have no idea when I'll get an answer. How do I fix this problem?

The project is corrupted it sounds like. Start a new project. Only thing you might be able to do is look at the cubasesx.log file in the root directory, see which plugin is crashing it possibly based on teh dll, and remove it from the path, and hope for the best. You might also be able to send it to someone else who doens't have your plugins, have them load it, errors and all, and resave out the project.

Thanks for the help! It turns out the "vanilla compressor" from Chunkware caused the problem. Tuesday, I was testing it out on a project and then saved it within the project. When I tried to load the project, the error occurred. I removed it an presto, it loaded perfectly. I hope they can fix the plugin, cause it's a pretty nice sounding comp.

Thanks again!
