Is this correct ?
I need several active simultaneously for my project(s)...(HDSP Midi Out 1, Yoke 4, sw1000 #1 and sw1000 #2).
Is this possible ?
cheers

XT only offer one midi out.
You need VST2MID or similar product for more ports.
This is really bad, but not the end of the world. I have a couple VST2MID set up in my default song for my external gear and once set up it´s pretty much the same.

I have the exact same problems as Sweet_trip explain when I have a midi out enabled in XT. Terrible crackles with only one audiotrack or VSTi.

Turning off the midi outs in XT and using VST2MID solves the crackling over here.

Good advice considering the native midi out isn't working right, yet.

I can't check at the moment if this is possible, but couldn't you use an instance of VST2MID per Midi output that you need?
Thanks

That's what I've done.

If someone would be so kind as to cast an eye over this - does it look correct ?

Not sure if it will open correctly because (obviously) my setup is pretty unique.

If God did exist (and he doesn't) he would answer to the name of Maurizio

By the looks of it, it looks good.
Couldn´t actually open the VST2MID plug (because of different interfaces or something)

Open each VST2MID (by right-clicking on the respective VST2MID plug, in the main mixer) or (by click/select on the preset number "Preset 0") and set the correct midi out port, and it should work.

Yep - seems to work fine.

One slight irritation. If I play one of the midi tracks then quickly move up to another one (whilst continuing to play), it seems as if some note off messages are not being transmitted e.g. get hanging notes on the original track's destination.

This is (predictably) cured by pressing the offending track's mute button.

Don´t change track while holding down a note ;)

AFAIK there another plug called something like "drop_fix" or similar. It was made by Modulr in the tracktion forum here at kvr.

See Modulr third post.
Perhaps it works, perhaps not.

Hopefully Jörgen will implement proper midi out ASAP. It´s such an essential part for an app like XT.
