some here made a program that allows you to send audio out your motherboard's computer speaker (just for making ringtones).

We do those too

..but as far as audio quality is concerned, I always encode the cover versions from wavs, while the ignorant f*cks at the record companies usually send shitty low bit-rate mp3s for the 'official' versions.

does it really matter that much? i mean its conimg out of a 1/2' speaker!
