Hi Folks,
Though my question may belie this, I have been engineering for over 20 years. With that face-saving caveat, I have what is surely a simple qestion:

How do I set-up SX2 to send sound to monitors?

To-date I've been using the headphone jack in my RME Multiface, so its not been an issue (all I could afford until recently).

So my question is:

How do I set-up my SX2/RME system to feed a pair of monitors? Surely its defining outputs, but how do I set it up so that what I send the the main bus gets also goes to the mains (monitors)

New monitors arrive today so I hope someone can help before the weekend. :)

Assign Cubase to output to Analog 1/2 or wherever you plan on having the monitors hooked up to off of the interface. Tyring to remember off the top of my head, but in the setup menu, there's something like Multi out, it's where you assign your outputs. That's where you set what goes where. It's the same menu where you assign your MIDI, your control surfaces, etc.

there's a button on the very left of the mixer, above the "0<<<" one - this one will open the connection setup.

That's a handy one...didn't know that. There's always something to learn with a big host, eh?

The other way (from memory) is;
Devices->Setup->Connections/outputs (or something close to that)

Thanks so much guys! My shame has ended :)
