I downloaded this at work this morning with some difficulty. Man, someone's gonna have ot come up with something pretty darned special to beat this for me.Gregjazz wrote:The link works for me, but I guess it could be a regional thing? Weird. Geoff, if you need someone to host, I'll do it, though, I can't guarantee it staying on the server for more than a year (!).
Only stipulation is you tell me what you're using for drums... I really like the sounds. Wouldn't mind knowing what you're using for monitors too.

RichieBee, I know what you mean. Here's what he said a couple pages back. I really love that string sound in the background. It takes me back 30 years as soon as it comes in!Disco Greg wrote:Here are some of the sounds I used (off the top of my head):
free Maestro Cream Drums soundfont
Tambourine and handclaps (converted from free Reactor sounds posted here a while ago)
Shakers (free soundfont made by moi)
4Front E-Piano (free VSTi)
NS_Woodblock (free Natural Studio soundfont)
I'm afraid I can't find the drums anywhere...

If you would host it for me I would be extremely grateful! The Maestro Cream drums is a free download, but I guess the website went down about a year ago.RichieBee wrote:I downloaded this at work this morning with some difficulty. In return for short-term hosting I'll send you those soundfonts, if you want. (Maestro Cream drums and the Maestro refills, brushes, etc.)

i know the mix is off (and probably worse than i think) but i give up. this is as good as i've been able to get it, especially since my monitoring is inaccurate.
anyway, if i was coordinated enough to dance (which i most definitely am not), i'd move to this.
warning to Beardedone: you'll probably hate the song.
