What software would allow me to turn a bunch of wave files with loop points into one SF2?

Vienna is pretty dependent on what soundcard you have, though right? Basically it won't play the soundfonts unless you have a Soundblaster card such as SB Live or SB Audigy, correct?lion_cub wrote:vienna is freeBattleguard wrote:Are there any free ones out there?

You could use sfz for this too, not exactly soundfonts, but better, and free.
You could also use the sfz scripting language to create the soundset and use Extreme Sample Convertor to turn it into an SF2.
Synthfont and Viena are other options (that I don't use btw).
Awave is more or less the standard answer at kvr to this type of question. VSampler is a good alternative, because in addition to importing many formats, you can use it as a sampler itself.

Right. It wouldn't load, if you don't have a SoundBlaster installed.Gregjazz wrote:Vienna is pretty dependent on what soundcard you have, though right?
