Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Okay, I edited my post in the submissions and put RichieBee's mirror of my entry in its place (with pHz's permission, of course).

Thanks for your review, ugo!
I was trying to make it sound like it was all done live in a big empty room, maybe a dance hall or something... So I put a load of reverb on a pre-fader aux, but I did it to the piano, too..? The brush kit is a bit subdued in the first place, I suppose.
Cheers.

i have corrected that oversight and added you to my review.
it works great on the piano. it gives it a lonely feel but it remains present. somehow the drums just feel too distant to me. btw, i dont know if this would work or not, but i get the feeling the occasional light rimshot might be cool in that drum line.Hovmod wrote: I was trying to make it sound like it was all done live in a big empty room, maybe a dance hall or something... Thanks alot ugo I'm really glad you liked it and that I wasn't the only one left out on account of it sucking so hard that it just wasn't worth the trouble of writing about.
I agree on the ending and stuff. I have started to work it through with an ending and more easing from one part to the next. Agree very much on the snap comment too. It's annoying.
I'll retort with a review later, but to use a liqih-an term, yours is the most quakeable so far IMHO.

I'm totally flattered. Of course, I only talk bad of myself in hopes that it will bring me comments like these, and/or boatloads of sympathy that will have a direct impact on my votes.
