The quality of Ibanez dropped a big deal during the mid 90s untila couple years ago.
in the late 90s I had an ibanez and after only 6 months of use the bridge fell off  I was left with it in my hand while the guitar suffered a splint from the bridge to the neck.
I took it to a Luthier and he told me the guitar´s wood was poorly dried and it was just normal. I went to the shop where I bought it and they would not change the guitar or recognize this as a faulty production deal.
I learnt my lesson so I went to Nicolas Volpe in Venezuela (the best electric guitar maker in the country) and gave him a good slab of Honduras Mahogany to make me a strat bodied guitar with a one piece Rosewood neck (bought at Warmoth) that is the best guitar I have ever played!!!! and it is aging beatifully
Hmm. what was this thread about? I just get carried away everytime I talk about "Brownie"
BTW. Now Ibanez is making a better productand even their low level guitars are made of wood instead of compunds like in the 80s and 90s.
I hate Mackie now for their awful customer support outside of the USA.
Would never buy ............................
Lamborghini :hihi: I`d rather have a 1969 fastback Ford Mustang
Back in the 80s, we used to call them "Ibenhad"

Amen... Sorry pustekuchen, couldn't be arsed to find the acute accent keycombo ;)
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

I'm lazy so here's a cut & paste reply
until 1977 Nestlé encouraged third-world mothers to switch from breastfeeding to formula. This went as far as giving mom free samples of product as she left the hospital with newborn in hand. Because Nestlé induced fear, uncertainty, and doubt about breastmilk safety, mom would feed her baby product instead of the true blue. This resulted in hundreds of thousands of babies superfluously dying from water borne illnesses. Or even worse, mom would lose the ability to breastfeed and, unable to afford more formula, junior would starve to death.

Of course Nestlé itself never killed a single baby. They merely induced mom down the garden path.

Sad thing is there's hardly a way around Evil  Companies - Unilever, Procter & Gamble etc. aren't the nicest of the lot either :?

Subway cause they are everywhere (i think that there are 5 branches in leeds centre alone), are expensive with poor choice for vegetarians and are another example of fast food chains turning food into identikit blandness.

Nike cause they sell their shoes at a massive markup and use/did use child labour.
But also, when I did competetive athletics, every pair of Nike's that i bought/got bought (running shoes remember - trainers) fell to pieces after about 3-4 meets. not a great build quality

You got it right on the money, and you can't beat a Warmoth neck imo...however hoshino remember goes with the lowest builder for lots of stuff...so when the quality dropped it was no surprise.

I agree mackie has some bad customer service issues...it's not just over seas. But I also gave my son my behringer mixer..too noisy.

BTW my sisters first car was a '65 cherry red disgustang..but if I were buying a stang I would rather a Shelby..;)

Of course my first car wasn't all that bad...'68 Dodge Coronet R/T with a 440 magnum, 4-speed and a Dana posi rearend... :) :(

¿somos aceptables mi amigo? Tengo una sensación que usted está enojado con mí.
