I love the sounds in this vsti, but do not like to use loops. Basically, I want to use it just as a sound module, cannot work out how to do this. Help?

you just use the midi input to trigger the individual pads and program the notes in your sequencer. connect your midi keyboard input signal to the plugin and try pressing all the notes til you find the ones that trigger the pads.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Aren't you supposed to load a kit first????haydxn wrote:you just use the midi input to trigger the individual pads and program the notes in your sequencer. connect your midi keyboard input signal to the plugin and try pressing all the notes til you find the ones that trigger the pads.

well, only if you want to use a preset kit. you can of course build your own but if you don't load one you get the default sounds anyway, and watching the screen when you press the keys will show you which pads are triggered by which keys.
it's very simple!

I can load say a snare preset, but then get the same snare all over the keyboard. Is that what you mean? What I am trying to do is load a full microtonic kit, across the keyboard. Is that possible? Ya know, kick on C, snare on E, hihat on f# etc?
I'm finding the interface very messy, and the manual is in Chinese.

You'd need to make a drum map to do what
you are trying to do.

Did you try disabling the pitched MIDI mode? (The keyboard button at the top of the interface.)ancoats wrote:I can load say a snare preset, but then get the same snare all over the keyboard.
If you do that each sound should be on its own note.
