How I decompress a *.wvc (not *.wv) file?

Where did you get your WVC file? A name of a program responsible for its creation would be helpful... The person that gave you the file should know!

You don't... it's only extra information for the .WV-file. You should have a .wv with the same name as the .wvc, and when you decompress the WV the information in the WVC is automatically added to the final .WAV-file.
How do I know this? I googled " wvc file format " and looked in the documentation for WavPack, which is the software responsible it seems. Seriously, it was dead easy to find, use Google.

... unless the WVC file has nothing to do with WavPack. That's why I asked.
