General Creamware questions

I haven't heard the Mix and master effects myself - I just don't do much mastering really so they never interested me and I tend to use my Nord G2 and Reaktor for soundmangling type effects and reverb (the G2 has an excellent reverb btw). I don't believe you can compare Masteverb Pro to Dreamverb though - Dreamverb is in a class of it's own. However the third party reverbs by Warp69 (made for Timeworks) mentioned above are rated very highly and have been compared to hardware lex's etc. I do have Interpole which is a stereo dual filter effect based on the Moog filter used in Minimax and it blows away any other filter I've tried.

From what I have heard from others Vinco is also highly rated and there are many "Professional" producers using Creamware as their main platform so I guess you can use it in that capacity though.

One of the coolest things for me at the moment is that it comes with a plugin that basically enables me to use any hardware effect as a plugin - I have it set up to work with my G2 and once you've set it up you can just insert it where you want - it saves as "G2 effect plugin"

Thanks, you've been a big help. I'm holding off, though, unless I can find a great deal on a used Scope Project with the software I want. If they are going from 60 MHz to 200, even if it takes a year or more, I think I'd really better wait for that. I'll be looking forward to it, though.

I'm about to drop four bills on Sonalksis plugs so that will keep me occupied for a little while...
