Would/will buy again:

Voxengo (Aleksey & his products rule)
M-Audio (bang for buck galore)
AMD (bang for buck galore 2)
Western Digital (reliability)
Sony (got a 10-yrs old MD that is built like a tank)
Dave Smith Instruments (that sound)
Applied Acoustic Systems (Tassman 4 is in a class of it's own)
K&M (excellent mic stands)
Behringer (who else could make cheap shit like Uli when you need cheap shit?)

Wouldn't buy again:

Studio Projects (B1 suits my voice but poorly finished build quality)
Peugeot (my car is crap)
HP, Dell, Compaq (huge piles of crap, glad I didn't choose them in the companies I worked)

I thought I was the only one who's into greek philosophy and Kurt Cobain at the same time, hehe. For me it's more Plato than Aristotle though. ;) (to be honest i never got into aristotle big time so my preference for Plato is not necessarily because I think he's better, but 'cause I know him better. Anyway, Cobain's comments on 'from the perspective of a thirteen-years old' is as good a philosophy as any - did you ever read the "Journals"? It's a great read).

M-Audio -- Most solid prolevel card drivers I've tried, and ultra-low latency. Doesn't have the sound quality of the EMU cards unfortunately.

Gforce/ohm -- Kind of self-explanitory around here.

Kjaerhus -- Same. GCO =

Yamaha -- Solid mid-range mixers. I've yet to have any problems with my MG12/4.

Sonitus -- Underrated

db-audioware -- Underrated

Shure -- Great deal for the money.
