i have no problem with using eq-
but you can only cut and boost what's already there.
I want to extrapolate/extrude frequencies which aren't in the original

mda sub synth
courtney did it!

Try 'Choir Boy' and pitch shift one voice down by a complete octave. Mix with the original to taste

pretty cool for a freebie :D

Any synth or sampler you like should do: add a track, and populate it with MIDI notes. Not the lazy way, but the most effective and most natural sounding one!

Baxxpander then, by eloxga has "bass saturation" to add new tones and timbers (from the overdrive parameter). Sometimes I'll 2x a track and use a bandpass just on the bass frequencies on one of them. Together the overall bass level is much higher, but nothing new is added. Aside from creative compression, Baxpander is the ticket.

just realized that's what Rozzer posted

PSP MixBass can sometimes sound v nice on some tracks.

Waves Ren Bass adds bass to whole mixes.

It's similar to mda SubSynth, but sometimes it sounds better.

And then there are also some plugins, which transpose the signal. Like TbT Octaver, for example. (You should have all the TbT plugins anyway.:))
