How can it be permanently enabled? C/R means that I'll have to ask another code if I change CPU/MB/HD/whatever??Version 1.01 is now released!
It fixes problems with renaming programs and loading/saving FXPs and FXBs. It's available on a 30-day free trial offer. After that, you'll need to purchase and register the software. When you do, you'll get a code that can be used to permanently enable the software. Customers with authorized versions of version 1.0 will not have to reauthorize.
Please note: This plug-in uses Pace challenge/response copy protection. It does not require an iLok and does not install any kernel drivers on your system.

Yeah basically. Not the best copy protection scheme, but they all suck IMO. But still, this is a great reverb, and is worth the hassle of C/R to me.C/R means that I'll have to ask another code if I change CPU/MB/HD/whatever??
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Permanently as opposed to the 30-day trial.
Sure, sure, it'll require a new key if you change your system substantially, and while it may not be an example of the best written copy in the world, you're just quibbling over semantics here.

But the best part about semantics is the quibbling. And with a little topping it makes a great lite snack.
perception: the stuff reality is made of.

Ok, how about quibbling over hypothetical system changes. How granular is the C/R system? If MickGael's experience with the laptop and docking station is any indicator, this permanence thing is very impermanent!
Darn it, I'm still hungry. Semantics: fluffy, not stuffy.
