Can anybody suggest a good program for ripping audio from streamed video -either Windows Media or the alternative Real Media player? I have to say, Scott McClellan is moving me to create a masterpiece. Thanks so much.

I could be wrong on this But you record streamed audio. You need access to the entire file to rip from a cd? And I do think there are quite a few programs some free that will record the output of your soundcard.

Yep...thanks, that's precisely what I'm looking for - something to record the output of my soundcard while using one of the media players. Any suggestions?

I use SoundForge. But it's a bit pricy if all your using it for is to capture streams. I do use this for way more than that. It would be hard for me to do what I want and not have it. It's not a one trick pony if you know what I mean.
