Im fairly new to this stuff, but having a great time with it all, Im really getting in to all the wonderful soundfonts out there, so here's a few of my fav's.

This post is really intended for noobs like myself, just getting started, as I reckon most of the vets here already have most of these,....anyway here goes

I really can't decide which ones I like the best, there're all good and I like 'em all...

This ones the best!!! I DLd the v1.31, and then the v3.70, but I can't get a good sound from the v3.70, it has some other files with it, but I dont know what to do with them, if anyone can figure it out please let me know.

Here are some great pianos from: http://www.hammersound.net/

SC55 Piano

Stereo Grand Piano (SGPno) [6.6MB; 2.7MB]

And some more,...the Helgesson (spelling) is a beauty

I downloaded this one from: http://www.hum.aau.dk/~bovbjerg/piano4.html

but its not an sf2 file, so again I dont know what to do with it, (noob remember), maybe someone could help me out with it.

Im using the best software on the market, Tracktion 2, sfz soundfont player with sfz buddy, and Gregjazz's new soundfont enhancer, you'll need to adjust cut off, and release, etc, and add reverb to bring out the best in these pianos.

Well thats about it, this kvr place is the best, I get so much help here, so its time to give a little back,

play play play! :band2:

I'm gonna check some of these out!

Bumparino....

Post

Take a look at these ones (don´t ask me where; prob. at Sf2Midi), they´re great : kawaistereogrand, Roland_64VoicePiano and RolandNicePiano... .. .

Post

Hi poepe

I already have the two Rolands,...they just didn't quite make it into my list, they're very good tho.

I missed the Kawaistereogrand, I'll check it out,

thanks for the tip

The Roland_64VoicePiano is perfect in an arrangement with few space for a "fat" piano sound; then it is a unique tool !

Hi all.
Don't forget to check Spe3d's site

http://audioshots.com/auditorium

and to d/l Mats Helgeson Concert Grand.
That's the REAL free piano all over the 'net!
