As for no one over 40 being allowed online, you youngins don't know what y'all missed back in the day. The internet was much different in my youth during the Washington administration, and I must say that Burr was quite the lively blogger despite that flame war with Hamilton getting out of hand.
happy b-day, I just went out to eat with my mother and father for my upcoming 46th on Monday...:D At this point I'm never sure if it's the last time so I cherish the moments with them, though they are divorced...you forgot too mention how hard ben's harmonica was to set up...;)

I could go with the stupid texan pig, but I need that 4 syllable word in the middle to get that "ring" to the name...

Hmm, this might discorage me from participating in kvr altogether. That's bullshit to cap the age brackets at 40.

I couldn't resist... I need to take a poke at Texas now and then...but then I'm from massatusetts as you goat ropers say (:hihi: goat roper, haven't used that in about 24 years). Someday I'm gonna go back to Texas for a trip... a lot of memories there...my son was born there in '81...I partied with Diablos (they still around) went to some great clubs and some really cool shows, I even bought a black 72 Fender Tele custom (just like Kieth's) from Ray Henning's Heart of Texas Music...;)

I knew there was something wrong with you, you play fender guitars... :hihi: j/k

To sum up your post, there are still alot of goat ropers around, but their are mainly near Chase and his six toed family in deep east tejas.

I havent heard of the Diablos, Or Ray Hennings Heart of Texas Music, but that doesnt mean that they arent still around.

TBH I would like to get outta tejas pretty soon and move to NYC, or washington state. The wife gives a definite NO to NYC, but Washington or Oregon may be a possibility... I wouldnt mind moving to Scotland for a while actually, but I would need to be important to move there for work reasons and that isnt happening any time soon....

I lived up by chase for a while too...back then the goat ropers, defined imo by a two wheel drive pick-up with headache rack, gun rack (with a baseball bat in the gun rack), big tires and a lone star "spit can" on the dash...and of course the obligatory baseball cap, were around the centroplex...

btw someone stole my tele...the diablos were bikers (I had a chopped out 750-4)

Tell your wife to look at New England...get north of Boston and it's awfully nice, old New England towns tend to be steeped in tradition..I love it here...New Hampshire having no sales tax doesn't hurt...they dont have state income tax either as long as you work and live in NH, thing is they have very high property tax...that is why I live five miles from the border...
