hello,
i recently posted about looking for an animation. this is related but different. my friend is doing sound design for a dark french animation called "Nuit Blanche". basically what goes on in the piece is this guy is attacked by a dog/werewolf hybrid thing.
we need dark chase music, fairly orchestral but i'm thinking that sort of low piano riffing style that you hear in a lot of horror movies. the main cue we are trying to fulfill is the part when he is chased by the dogs.
if anyone has any horror music that they'd be willing to share we'd like to listen to it. the piece is totally non-profit, for a student portfolio. i dont really want to ask anyone to do anything original because if it's not what we need we are wasting your time and i hate it when people waste my time, personally. i've had it happen too many times to ask someone to put their "balls on the table" as they say.
you would get credited and someone will love you eternally. it will also be good for your own visual portfolio as the sound designer of this is top-notch and it would be a good collaboration.
i'll put up a link soon. thanks

Try the song that I have on there. Not orchestral, but definitely very very dark!

Good, Fast, Cheap. Pick any two. I think that was what Vurt was saying.
Just so happens I have some dark orchestral leftovers that might work. No piano, just chilling strings. Not chillin'. Scary, chilling. Oh, I'm getting creaped-out just thinking about it hearing those again.

oh god thanks guys for posting so fast. i love this place a little too much
it's great that i'm getting all types of stuff up here cause the truth is the animation is a few minutes long. i posted about a specific cue, but we need dark sounds all the way though so you might all be of help even if it isnt for that one chase specifically.
here's where you find the film. my friend has permission to use this in the same way we're asking for permission from you guys. non-profit etc.

you'll see in the credits they used all sorts of music from various soundtracks like howard shore's panic room score.
