sure no problem leaving you alone...maybe I can't spell but you need to show me where I wasn't polite...the worst thing I said was I think your sig is absurd and you sounded like a teenager. You may think that my act of commenting wasn't polite, but you posted in a public forum...so the right to respond with my opinion was not in anyway impolite, in fact I believe it's implied. However I never swore at you, called you names I just voiced my opinion about what you posted...if you think I'm not polite then perhaps forums aren't the best idea for you...trust me there are plenty here who have raised being impolite to an artform...see yah

sometimes ya gotta let it out.....

be nice to each other, too many "differences of opinion"...

is it impossible to just be nice? it's been implied that one gives the "go ahead" in a public forum to be a f**king dick, i think you have more responsibility to be kind...i wouldn't say something to someone over this internet crap that i wouldn't say to their face.....that's a given...those who don't-they make me feel like they are being pussies.....do whatever you want...just try and spell a goddamn word...i'm not talking about an error now and then.....i'm the dumbest f**k when it comes to this cpu shit, you want me to take you seriously??? spell a f**king word....

blow me,

simply brilliant retort  is that your response to me about where I was impolite to you? Funny, I still haven't sworn at you or insulted you...I guess I really am a bad guy...

it seems you asked and answered your own question there, buddy...

i still don't think you understand my sig but it's not my responsibility if i'm misunderstood...if you have a problem or question with it you could have simply asked me, i would of been happy to explain...i tried to reply to your remark in a direct manner without being rude but still addressing the insulting nature of you post... i pointed out i wasn't directing anything toward you or others with similar music hobbies/ambitions, in fact i was kind of complementary ...i asked you to drop it but it didn't work, i got more nose in the air, smarmy attitude and the cutie "eyes rolling", honestly, you seem kind of full of yourself...and i do have a problem with people lecturing me on artistic integrity and who imply my opinions are "assisine" and the problem is with "symantics", again, you simply don't get it...

regardless, i apologize for cursing, as their is no excuse, kinda blows my whole "be polite" rally call...

obviously i'm not winning friends here on kvr and i'm not going to fight with a group...seems everybody has to jump in with their two-bit jabs, but obviously i'm not going to win this one, sometimes you gotta cut your losses...not trying to get the last word in, but i'm done with it...

one more thing..."busician"? ....dude, you really don't know me....

take care (boxing gloves off),

fwiw I don't want you to take my term busician as insult, it wasn't meant to be...I have many busician friends...surely if I was mistaken as it appears I was you could see from your sig that it might seem you look at music as more of a business. Like I say if I was mistaken, sorry...but it's not a bad thing. If it wasn't for busicians keeping the ball rolling we wouldn't have some of the brilliant innovations we are privileged to have. But by the same token there are some (myself anyhow) that don't know why we play.

All i know is when I was twelve 3 things happened (one we can leave alone thank you very much :hihi:), the other two...one, after a couple years of being the worst player on my little league baseball team I realized my dream of being a pro baseball player wasn't happening. Two, I got a guitar for my birthday, before that I played trumpet in grade school (and not that well ). I doubt I'll ever know why the guitar chose me, but it did.

I do know that I dont play for fame. riches, chicks...but I can confirm I play for me...;)

I still say we need a handshaking smiley for such times as that is my way at moments like this...:D

FWIW, i'll explain my sig: i have dry sense of humor, i guess...i like jokes with some irony and sarcasim...when i was filling out my profile and i had to come up with a phrase or something to represent "me" i decided to use that one, i came up with it a long time ago in a conversation with friends, a reply to something or other and it stuck. Literally it has two meanings: one is you can't sell out unless you have the talent or at least the opportunity to do so, in other words you've worked to get to a place where you could "sell out", the other meaning is someone can't sell out because their morals/integrity won't allow them to..."i'll never sell out because i'd never be able to look myself in the mirror"...there's another way, i guess you could mean it as in "sell out the room"...regardless, the whole thing is an ironic joke, i've got this creepy message that's supposed to represent me, and it says "you should sell out, if you don't obviously you stink" and believe me, thats not what i think... but at the same time, i believe there is some truth to the statement...a wedding dj/band or cover band, for example, they are doing what they love and getting paid, i'd never shit on them, but some might...i worked in advertising for 8 years, at first i thought it was like advertising was the modern "patron of the arts" the way the church used to be, my feelings definately changed, i got to the point where i just couldn't take these people acting like they were curing cancer while they're doing a spot for wheaties or whatever...i was accused of selling out by some, i didn't make a lot at the job but i made a good buck on side work and i learned a ton about recording and listening in general, you gotta work fast in that business...i did some strange things, also some fun , creative stuff, lots o' bullshit, too.

i may have been defensive about the possibility of being judged by you, it felt like if someone is gonna jump my ass about a sig, what the hell will happen if i actually post some music? i've been absent from music making for a long time, my stuff was in storage and i've got lots of personal baggage to deal with...plus, my music and lots of my creative stuff i've done has an element of a ,i could see people calling it crap, juvenile, or even offensive without understanding what i'm saying, or they might not be in on the joke...i'm in the process of getting my studio together, my new pc runs like a champ, and the last thing i wanna do is fight with the guys on a site that helped me so much to build and tune up the pc...

anyway, glad the fight's over, hope i cleared up some stuff, good luck with your music..

see you on the boards,
