i think it would be cool if age was a part of the info on your post, like location. i'm kind of curious of how old someone is when you're discussing stuff.
i have to say kevvvv all these years i've known you, it is inspiring for me to meet older folks on the forum like you and others. it gives me hope that if i ever have a wife and family or just plain grow old and lonely, that this music tech stuff just doesnt drop out of your life. that's one of my biggest fears with growing up of course.
i've always felt like a kid exploring synths and stuff, but as i've been able to learn more about how they work, it's a real art and to truly understand it you must be wise and well-learned.
for all those who dont me i'm turning 23 this summer. am i below the average age or is this roughly the average age of the forum? we might have to do a survey soon

One of my best friends always asks people their age when he first meets them. I've never asked him why, but knowing him as I do, I reckon it's so he knows whether to speak down to them or treat them with respect. For me, age stopped being an issue when I was about 22.

This morning I'm the oldest person at KVR. I'm a mass of pain thinly covered in fur. Far worse than usual (it's chronic, been this way for three decades; but it does get worse and better over time). But there's good news: a few parts don't hurt as severely as the rest.
What fun biology is! Feh.

Sorry to hear that Meffy. You prolly know more about all this than I do, but have you considered hypnosis, autosuggestion, aromatherapy, vaporisers? And if humanoid skunks have regenerative parts, just cut off the aching ones!
Or, listen to some Britney CDs, that may put things back into perspective (if it doesn't make you kill yourself, or drive stakes through your ears of course).
