DarkWare - DarKoder

No hentai, no violence... maybe they'll dig this one.

Well okay here's a new kind of vocoder I've been working on. It takes the traditional design of a vocoder and inverts it... well what I mean is; instead of using a synth as the carrier and the input as a modulator, instead, DarKoder uses the input as the carrier and the synths as the modulator! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but let's not pretend I know what the hell I'm doing anyway.

DarKoder works great on drum loops, okay on synths, and half-ass on vox. Here's a demo: Clicky!

Please check out the presets first, they are mostly useful.

I do hope everyone runs their favorite drum loops through the "beat" presets... they might actually be surprised.

Because I felt the original demo wasn't up to par, I've made a new one that takes a sampled music bit and runs it through a few of the DarKoder presets:

I was working on a track the other day, playing with mr. mutilator, when I realised my 5yo daughter was looking up at my screen with a slight look of fear, so had to quickly hide that one...

Guess I should hold off on encouraging your dark side toward the Ten Tickle. hahaha

Thanks for the praise Xero. To be honest I was kind of suprised at the lack of excitement DarKoder got here... I for one f**king love the plug and plan to make an uberdeluxe version of it one day... (but it won't be free you bastards

). Anyway... I will produce TenTickle because I've realized that if you try to appease the masses the masses don't give a f**k anyway.
