I am considering purchasing Flstudio and have downloaded the demo. The mixer does not appear to have a solo and mute buttton on each track. How can I solo several tracks at once and how do I can I mute tracks? Thank you

As of this version, you mute the ones you don't want to hear or just select the single track and hit the solo button to hear the soloed track. However, FL6, which is a free update (as are all updates) will have as you are hoping for: solo and mute buttons on each track. If you get FLStudio, get the Producer edition. Also, remember that updates are free for life! You can't beat that.

Typically when you open FL you'll see the step sequencer with the sampler channels. To the left of each channel, you'll have a little green light-that's what you use to solo. Hit control left mouse click to quick solo and un-solo. Learn the hot keys and the workflow in FL becomes fairly efficient.

You can alse use the "Fruity Mute 2" plugin in the FX bus.
