Im considering purchasing one of the two. Which is better $$$££ wise? Ableton or Fruity??

Post

damn - you need to try them both out, depends on your workflow & what you are looking for.
Personally Live blew me away & I just had to buy it, everything about it just clicked for me & the version 5 update will just serve to reinforce that.
Session view to jam & improvise, arrangement to arrange.
I could never get in to fruity, but I have a friend who dropped logic in fruity's favour & has gone from strength to strength with it - so even though it wasn't my cup of tea I can't diss it , & the next update looks to be powerful.
I'm biased in favour of Live though, & version five will have PDC & a powerful freeze, but it is horses for courses.

Well, If you still refer to it as "fruity", then I'd suggest........

I agree with this. But it has been said "it depends on your workflow."
