i've searched the forum and cannot find a topic on this, so apologies if this is obvious :oops:

What I would like to do is record the movements of my UC-16 into a envelope track in the seq

for the life of me i cannot work out how to do this :roll:

is this possible :help:

'Fraid you cannot record into an envelope track.
You could record them into a MIDI part, if that is of any use.

That might prove tricky though, as its only for VST effects affecting an audio track - but could it be done??

- create new midi track
- set its output to the audio track where you have the insert attached to
- select the midi track
- record

Its not the envlope solution i was hoping for, but for now that is great

this solution might not look as good as if you could record directly into envelope parts but the possibility that you can record 128 different cc# rows into a midi part does make it enormously powerful (you'd need 128 env tracks to do that otherwise) 8)
