as it's said every time something like this comes up - horses for courses... I mean my workflow is the fastest when using Cubase, even when comparing to simpler/more streamlined hosts. It's just what you are used to seriously. Heck, when it comes to performing certain file management tasks I'm quicker when I just go into DOS consol and use command line rather than using any GUI based stuff on Windows. :p I also had a look at Logic before and a lot of people think it's really complicated work with (myself included), but I know some people who are super fast with it.

I was used to FL but my efficency soared when I discovered Live 4! :D Recently I've been going back to FL5 because of issues with my Live and I do admit there are some good things: step sequencer is always great, the slicer is easy to use and fairly good, the FLSlayer is convincing, to name a few.

But I tell ya, as soon as I ca go back to Live I will! Nothing enables easier audio treatment, quick workflow to test synths/effects, capability for both creation and sequencing.

One thing that I keep noticing as well, is how many vst's Live can support compared to FL5. One Wavestation or NI Instr XT and FL5 is already struggling. Am I the only one to notice that???!!!
