I was involved in the first group buy and never really ended up using that stuff. Squids, can I sell it and do a license transfer? What is the process for this?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, with sounds this not allowed. The main reason of course is because there is no way to be sure people aren't keeping a copy for themselves. But, also, when you make a purchase of samples you are buying the rights to use that content, not the rights to transfer the right to use it. The license agreement states that it is non-transferable and other conditions that more people should read. It is on the site itself as well as in the product.rockin1 wrote:I was involved in the first group buy and never really ended up using that stuff. Squids, can I sell it and do a license transfer? This is sometimes new to people and I have to point out that this isn't unique to us. Nearly every sound developer uses a universal license agreement that does not allow the transfer of the license (ie. to sell it to someone else used). People sometimes do it anyway but the person buying it does not have the legal license to use it and doesn't qualify for updates, upgrades and other benefits of being the licensed owner. That's why it is important to make the best buying decision you can. I like to help people not be in this situation and is why even as a CEO of the company I make myself personally available to answer questions, make riff demos and do what I can to help people make the most informed decisions so they'll be happy customers.
Luckily in your case you got hundreds of dollars of product for only $109. If there was a reason you bought it in the first place I recommend that you try to make use of what you've got. At esoundz we care very much that our customers are happy though and if you'd perhaps be happier with Sonik Synth 2 or SampleTank 2XL or other sounds in other formats then you could talk to alex@esoundz.com and see what he can do. Maybe he can give you some epointz or guide you in a direction that will make you happier. In terms of a deal, I don't think it gets much better than what you already got (and plenty of people have paid 5 times more and are still very happy with the VFM). But, each person is different and despite the fact that we have to have these policies we do our best to look at each person's situation and come up with a solution that is fair for both sides and ultimately keeps you a happy customer.
