Of course I was! McLilith's link isn't disgusting or vile and it doesn't have a rotten stench at all!McLilith wrote:He might have been asking for a link to the hardcore german porn.snooky wrote:http://www.crunk.com/cptgone wrote:snooky wrote:you might as well watch hardcore german porn or the latest hiphop video [...] it's discusting and vile and has a rotten stench![]()

I used to (and still do) like old Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Maestro Fresh Wes, and even House Of Pain to name a few... But the recent rap/hip hop - it just is so self centered, fronting, crooked, moronic, and useless without even a noticible sense of humour?
Now Digital Underground doin' The Humpty Dance... Sure, that's stoopid as all get out. But funny and fun and just a good time as well!
Lord, I really do miss MC Junior.

Heard Missy Elliot on the way to work, she's good even though she's almost a fem thug... but the beats&backgrounds have a certain amount of ambition and genuine effort to make something new.

I am playing Gta San Andreas on PC at the moment and this game has introduced me to some really nice tracks from the 90ties. There's 3 or 4 songs with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog and a great song with Ice T and in contradiction to what jplanet says there's a lot of melody in these tracks.
Then there is the most awesome hardcore track called "Hood Took Me Under" by Comptons Most Wanted and its really really cool. Great flow and rhythm. You should check him out. And brilliant game by the way!
There's a lot of electronica that uses Hip Hop rhythms. Populous -Quipo for instance.

I dislike hip-hop and rap because of ideology. It seems to propogate the idea that at the end of life, the one with the most toys wins, which I think is a complete utter turd on a stick mentality. Reading lyrics just makes me f**king angry.
I like introspective rap like early Eminem - the Slim Shady LP. He really does look at himself and tells us about what he's feeling, and you hardly ever get that from hip-hop.
His new stuff is shite though.
