I do quite like Becks Guero album- Que Onda Guero is a great mix of Becks sarchastic slacker style and hip hop.

I think that the Dust brothers have produced some of the best hip hop music of all time.

Pauls Boutique is on my shortlist of great albums. Its amazing how many "hip hop heads" freak out the first time they hear that album. Russ simmons said that if they made that album in 93 it would have sold 10 million copies...

allot of oldskool Soul music.

For the sampling and musical Ideas I listen to allot more other things, mostly alot of acid jazz/rare funk...
