no - depending on the option u choose the quality can get even better

the playback setting for live or instant playback is generally not set to as high a resolution as the render so that the cpu is not taxed. In Audio settings, notice the interpolation is set by default to "linear" - the fastest, worst render option: it saves cpu. When I render, I dither and I bump interpolation up to 256, creating a cleaner sound.

If you like the way things sound before rendering, but notice a slight decrease in brightness of sound, that's the aliasing being removed by better interpolations. Sometimes I like the brighter sound and turn the interpolation down to 'linear' to retain what FL does in realtime.

i use 6-point hermite when i render for CD's excpt for my final rendering where i do the highest quality.
