Hi Doru Malaia

Just received the ethnic drums & percussion dvd today, thank you very much! :) However, I can't seem to play/copy some of the files, this may also be due to the drive that I have, so no accusations etc. :) Just want to hear if anyone experiences the same thing so I can know whether it's just my drive or the disc. It doesn't look damaged by the transit....

When I try to copy/play some of the files I can hear the drive trying to read it without succes, but as I recall I have tried this before, so it's likely to be the drive's fault.

To Seus Hawkins :
1. restart your computer
2. copy to your HD the entire basic directory ( not only folders or subfolders) and all 'll be ok !

Why apears some problems sometimes ? Because there are so many files ( for example SuperPercussionsFX contains 26.000 audio samples ,and your system can have problems with his buffers to copy so much files ! Sometimes can be something with the drivers of your dvd-rom.

Anyway , all of these dvd's are verified. But if your problems with a dvd persist, just tell me and i will send you another dvd. But first please make a test using other system (of one of your friends !). Because there are so many files , you can see now the limits of your system !

It's really great with this disc by the way. Incredibly cheap compared to what you get!

Dear Seus here you have a proof that dvd are ok : has been received first review about "230 Ethnic Drums & Percussions" :

"Wow. Theres just so many good things to say about the Doru Malaia sample libraries. I was skeptical when i first bought superdrums8000. I thought that 8,000 sounds for $29 there must be something wrong, but i was wrong. It was fantastic, so i recently purchased the FX percussion series and the all new 230 Ethnic Drums & Percussions. And the quality is very very good. -I produce electronic music and do some film composition and within 2 days i already found myself using some of the sounds. For the FX percussion, all i can say is BUY this NOW! for only $29 you get over 26,000 incredible samples (how could you pass this up) I have found so many uses for these sounds in Reason, from using the metals to create filtered electronic rhythms to using the reverbed and effect sounds for sound design. And for the 230 Ethnic Drums & Percussions, all i can say is that this is a phenominal value, and dont be fooled by the $29 price, the sounds are very high quality. There are excellent variations on every instrument so you never have to worry about using that same shaker, or cabasa sound, like you do with most libraries. And dont think that you have to like world music to use these sounds, i recently used some of the african drum sounds on a progressive trance release. They also shipped very fast, i live in Florida and received it in about a week. I give the entire library an A+ and another A+ for the new Ethnic set. to Doru Malaia- keep up the great work, i love what you and your team give to us musicians.

Kagi wouldn't accept my card. I foolishly made a "Cash Order", and now I guess I'm supposed to send cash somewhere... I don't know. International trade still sucks, a bank/wire transfer would be so freakin simple.

I'm soory but Kagi is one of the best banks from the USA , they working toghter with VerySign and have a very protected system (128 bits crypted). But the pay system it's very simple. Sure you have a right e-mail address ? Cause from so many customers , only 3-4 was having problems . Try again carefully , we (and you , and me all the computer's musicians) are so tired sometimes and it's very easy to make a mistake.

Thanks, I do trust Kagi, but I think the problem my card , a Visa Electron. There are still many banks/processing systems that don't see it as real credit card.

Oh , yes , i know this problem , and myself i have 2 credit cards : 1 - a MasterCard wich are available anywhere , and 2 - a VISA wich are available only on my country ! I thinking that this is a bad politic of the banks - to give us restricted credit cards witout enough informations ! This because exist and VISA cards which are available anywhere !

Doru... that's... and words escape me. I don't know what to say.

For what it's worth, Superdrums 8000 has been my "go to" for percussion like shakers and tambourines for the last year and half since I received it. I have used it in every single one of my tracks. So for this, I thank you. And I hope you feel you have done your job in helping a poor fellow musician... if I can even call myself that.

I just put in an order for both the SuperPercussionFX and 230 EthnicDrums & Percussions.

I'm sure it'll be every bit as useful as Superdrums.

Thank you my friend ! Yes , money are important because hosting , BANDWITH(!), expeditions,etc, but more important for me is that so many musicians are now happy to have so many and good instruments and now can make their music much better ! They have now only one care : to choose ! And it's wonderful because it's like we have togheter so many spiritual childrens ! They exist (exactly how they are) because my samples exist ! Yes, ofcourse , can make music and without my samples , but i'm indeed very happy everytime when a musician is helped by my work ! This is my life ! Because of this i tell you again : thank you !
