Is anybody having a clue if theres any good guitar midi style libraries out there? I only wan´t the midifiles not vsti:s like Steinbergs Virtual Guitarist.
If they are free it's even better!

I wan't some kind of guitar MIDI library categorized in different styles. Im most interested in rock, pop and funk. Are there any?

These would seem to be exactly what you want, but unfortunately, they only appear to work with the RealGuitar product:

As it happens, there's a guy selling the RealGuitar with these libraries in the Marketplace forum. Worth taking a look.

Why don't you just load a few of the tons of free MIDI files available and extract the guitar parts?
This site: http://www.myguitarsolo.com/midis.htm has a bunch of more or less guitar oriented MIDI files.

Of course, it might make more sense if the files were played using an actual MIDI guitar, but, owning one myself, I just can't seem to be able to come up with anything reasonable in terms of realistic guitar emulation.
Being a guitarist I can't say I'm exactly sad about that... at least my jobs are relatively safe for another few years

Wan't some Guitar midi styles?
