My "in place editing" feature has a mind of its own. If I adjust the length of a highlighted note, all the unhighlighted notes in the same time region adjust equally from the opposite direction! Any suggestions?

For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction?
Hmmm... Dunno about that one though... it doesn't sound quite right!

Steinberg Support say the same(so no prizes for pointing out the obvious). Have already reinstalled once. Everything else looks Ok, though its a pain in the Cpu. Might install SX2 for bigger projects.advaya wrote:For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction?![]()

I have no clue as to why that could happen (apart from if the zoom factor was changing).
A possibility is that shuffle mode is selected for snap, that can certainly move notes when things are resized.
I will ponder some more...

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the zoom and shuffle is off. There are other sporadic glitches but this is the consistant one.Bas wrote:I have no clue as to why that could happen (apart from if the zoom factor was changing).

Agreed but the upgrade came from Arbiter and I keep the work Pc offline so there should be no viruses.Jonny X wrote:That should only happen if you select all the notes... Dodgy...
