I'd only like to second greendoor and say that testing reverbs in mono is pretty much important and true. The best of the bunch always sound nice in mono, too. If the audio field changes too much, or in any unpleasent way, just forget about that reverb... my policy.

Cheers!

Thanks

Sonitus.... - I really think is one of the better algo verbs out there... no need to buy another one when you already have it.

though I gotta say W2 sounds better,.... but I guess I'm bound to do so...

well my ranking is

1. WizooVerb W2
2. Princeton Digital - Stereo Room
3. Sonitus
4. Easy Verb

I can't seem to find a price on the Wizoo - what is it?
Honestly - I just spent the last few weeks examining what reverbs I can download and today I went back and looked at the Sonotius and it actually sounded clean to me. I actually went and read the help files to understand it more and it is easy to use to me.

I've been working on learning the Pantheon also - seems to be a strong reverb but a bit harsh to me. When I use it as an aux and tone it down it is nice.

Thanks

the Wizoo one is around 250ish..... but honestly it's worth it... this thing rocks and well.....

Sonitus IS a good verb but if you got the money flying around I'd say try the Wizoo demo and keep in mind that the real version has more impulses and well... you'll see

It's very good. Very tweakable, smooth sound and low CPU consumption.

It's Princeton, and its an Eventide product - probably www.eventide.com It has a 'nice' unobtrusive quality that I could see appealing to mastering engineers. I think it sounds crap on drums, and doesn't sound good when exposed. I still think that if you can only have one reverb to do everything, the ArtsAcoustic is worth a look. I don't like the basic sound of the Spinaudio one, despite an impressive list of presets. I prefer the new Silverspike one, although it can't really do the wide, fake Lexicon-ish sort of sounds I like. PSP Easyverb is worth a look. Don't let the easy part fool you - it can sound better than other reverbs with millions of controls.
