question to the contest MODs

my MP3 got the wrong date and the player show it

NOTHING personal ... but i HAVE to be consistent mate ... if its over 2 mins (even if the extra is nearly silent) then i have no choice but to DQ ... you can however take this as permission to edit and re-upload if you want ...

... can i also remind quite a few of this months entrants of this rule too ...
in the contest rules i wrote:1 - your track MUST be ...

(a) encoded in .mp3 or .ogg format at 128kbps or lower

I think politics is in another thread :D.

I've seen the mp3 codec added one more second to the lenght of the track. That's why I had tho shorten a bit. In the other hand is intended the abrupt end leting you in the delays. When you're dancing it prepares you for a change in the mood of the DJ. :)
Barnadine wrote:Diek/Respect - It's a bit disorienting at first hearing an accent like yours in this genre, and the mostly a capella section at the start has a kind of charming clumsiness. The mix is odd and wavery, perhaps through overcompression, doesn't let the music breathe as much as it could. Very well-constructed song though, excellent guitar work, and obviously born out of love for this music.

Every new song I try to callenge myself with something more. One of things I tried in this one is record at 48Khz. The coding to mp3 made some work in the sound by itself. :?.
I the other hand you're very kind with my song
Barnadine wrote:But... the song's too long by 2 minutes! Maybe it's a corrupt download, but I've tried twice, and both times I got a 4 minute song. Even stranger, the second half is just a repeat of the first, but with ugly glitches that sound like bad encoding. I'm guessing this is just some technical mix-up, so I'll be judging the song as if it ended at the two minute mark.
I'm sorry about these problems. I checked myself the download and had no problems. You must be right about the technical mix-up (or I hope so!) .

I am suprised there is no Vitamin D entry yet as this months theme is made for him.

Techbot - I listened to your radio show all the way through last night and enjoyed it a lot. (thanks for including me)
If anyone has not yet listened or given you permission to use their music I would recommend doing so.

Just submitted my entry 'Transmogrified' for this month, a sort of funky breaksy house affair featuring a friend of a friend, Emiliano Movio, who kindly volunteered to sing the words after hearing my own atrocious rendition :hihi:

Featuring GURU, z3ta+, Scarbee J'Slap'N'Fingered and about a gazillion other plugs and FX... Hope you enjoy :D

Astanine -- Vitamin D announced a while ago that he's 'out of here,' and added a "waste of time" comment, with smiley I think.

Techbot -- I gave you my permission in KvR email.
