tobi and me used to call our band "miss black america", but unfortunately there´s already a band in engerlands using that name since many years. so we decided not to copy it, and thought weeks and weeks about our new bandname.
i hate such things .. (thats the reason why putte&edgar is called putte&edgar ..
..)but yesterday morning, while being in ichat messenger, i wrote "sorry computer" .. looked at it, giggled, and thought "uiui! good good!" ..
..and that´s it now.
sometimes its such little things making me excited ..
.. on the musicmaking side of things we´re quite far with the postproduction of our album, and things are running well. we have a producer now, and the work with him started yesterday ..
.. (with him we´ll record orchestral elements and things, as he´s super experienced in this field.)in late september the companies will hear the schnitzel ..
after having had quite lousy experiences with the music biz in the last 12 years (the opposite of my filmscoring experiences) its my 3rd try dealing with it. i dont expect too much, though it´ll be interesting to see how the reactions will be, cause if i ever did "proper" popmusic it´s exactly now.
and not cause i want to please them with their shitty principles, but because tobi and me are making singersongwritersongs in a way that we both love, being inspired by the wonderful music we both listen to.
this time i won´t post any of the stuff, even though i´d so love to know what people here think about it .. it´ll be there when its ready, whenever that will be. fact is that there´s already a german indie-label that would release it, and even if this wouldnt work out we´d press it ourselves and sell it ourselves ..
.. as long as this album will see the light of the day we´re happy. wow, its been some time since i wrote one of my egocentrical postings ..
