I for one would appreciate simply hearing about the technical merits of one against the other . . .
Ogg is:
- open, unpatented -- no need for a licence to sell tunes compressed with Ogg.
- smaller files for the same quality as MP3, or . . .
- higher quality for the same file size.

good production, but a bit muffled in places. good feel...the song makes you move whether you want to or not. this track would really benefit from vocals. its just begging for them.
Thanks for your words. Agreed with the need for vocals, but believe me ... you don't want to hear me singing. I'm still searching for someone to this task.

Last reviews of those that would download with Garret's downloader program:

The Peu - N Express

Nice - I like the little swoops on the arp/lead and the triangles throughout. Well mixed.

knoob - fall apart

Another well mixed and orchestrated piece. This style of music just isn't my thing; though I recall hearing it booming from every rice-burner in Europe a few years back - so there must be a market for it.

Peppy197 - Lief

The slow pan of the main rhythm track is interesting. Not necessarily danceable to me but unique harmonic structure. As in a few other tracks, I would have liked to hear a melody along with the song. Gimme something I can hum to while I boogie.

Jens - nighclubbing

Another track I can't really comment on. Not moving me off my seat.

That's it for reviews for me; my reviews are closed. Sorry for those that didn't mirror properly.

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

How about VBR that has a higher rate at times but averages below 128? :?

BTW thanks for the vote,

and I guess your theme means Free-For-All

or my favorite:
"EXPERIMENTAL"
(which is an excuse for errors and ignorance)
