sorry to once more post about hardware, but i have another confusion about my roland 505 groove sampler i just bought - i load up my own sample and also move it into the pitch bank, but when i send in midi it still triggers only the default factory bank..

someone please tell me how to trigger my user banks instead?? the manual is lacking a lot of stuff like this..

Not sure if it would help, but they have videos of the 606 on their site http://www.rolandus.com/products/detail ... ageMode=15 The reason it might help is I think the sp505 got replaced with the sp606.
I looked at some pictures and a few specs ....That seems to be the case. Those videos could be helpfull.....or they could make you want more features.

afaik - the 606 actually has no pitch mode.. i had no idea before i bought the 505 that most 'phrase samplers' can't transpose samples at all like soft samplers can.. terribly frustrating i would think..

hmm.. no.. nothing useful.. it's almost like they've hidden the specifics of their hardware so you don't know everything till you actually buy it.. :-\

ok.. i found one thing - i can get my user banks by sending a PC# message..

while i'm posting though - is there a way to trigger more than one bank at a time..?

anyone have an sp-505?
