i agree there is a lot of good funk and disco coming out of scandinaviaRapRogue wrote:No, there is not, if anything funk and 'groove'Lady J wrote:Some of the funkiest disco at the moment is coming out of those sidesAnyone who makes fun of scandinavian music just doesnt know the current state of things.
Theirs a whole lot of funk going on up there.
is the one thing not going on there. Pop on the
other hand is a great export and to some extent
rock and metal.
Black innovation?

i think the title of this thread is good, black innovation, its musical history and give credit where its due
but at the same time music as always been a fusion, theres dancehall that samples bleedin eurythmics, a lot of my black friends are into their rock, dont limit your worldview or musical taste based on what MTV or whatever tells you people of your color, white or black or brown, should like.. if youre feeling it youre feeling it simple as that!! and thats the beauty of music, ive met so many people i probably would have never otherwise befriended, from different countries, because music is a common link between us.
dont use music to separate people, use it to unite..

under 10,000 units usually yeah. but its not like new funk or disco sells a lot anyway unless it really crosses over - most stuff on the charts is pop, rock, rnb and hiphopRapRogue wrote:Ah, good as in no sales and very original good?dharmawan wrote:i agree there is a lot of good funk and disco coming out of scandinavia
