A quick question: when a new version has things like an improved PD Oscillator, do I need to remove the old one and insert a new one or will the existing one automatically use the newer version? i.e. Do I just need to re-save as VSTi to get the new features or do I need to screw around deleting and re-inserting modules?

AFAIK bones ... you just load up the old .se1 into the new version and recompile to vst ... this is all i have ever done [so i hope its the right answer ] ... certainly worked with the new version and the fixed soundfont player issues ...

At least it has been working this way with mine... It only takes sense to reinsert the elements when a new module is created.
... does anyone know how to change an SF patch with an LFO enough fast???

Are you on NT or something?BONES wrote:I installed the new beta and whenever i try to start it I get a missing gdiplus.dll error and it won't start. Anyone else experience this? I'm going to check yahoo.
If you go to: http://www.synthedit.com/beta/beta.htm
Middle of the page reads:
NT Users - You may also need the file gdiplus.dll DOWNLOAD it you SE complains.
File is here: http://www.synthedit.com/files/gdiplus_dnld.exe
I dunno why it would be doing that if you're not on NT?
