Recording Plugin (For Sampling)

I'm trying to get more use out of programs like FLStudio. I know I can just load FLstudio into Sonar 4 but honestly it drives me insane to actually program like that.

I'm trying to find a plugin that I can load up into a track on FL that will record my soundcard's audio input when I hit record/play on sonar or the plugin itself and have it save to a folder where I can easily stick it into FL and use it like a Loop.

Say for isntance I want to record my guitar or bass while messing around in FL but dont want any other external things going (ASIO drivers for one good reason) and record to what I programmed (a small portion not an entire song) and then just drag it over to a track in FL to use as a Loop/sample ..

I would really appreciate it if somone knows of one , I like to be able to mess around with the arrangment of things like that .. Sonar 4 and other sequencing programs get a little cluttered and don't really compliment FL very well.
